Meet Jane Sutherland-Farstrider
With the alchemy of paint on canvas, I hope to share what I find exploring the depths of nature and consciousness. Inspiration finds me everywhere — on long walks, in stories, and in the realm of dreams.

Meet Mariesa Lenz
Mariesa Lenz is an artist working in watercolor, mixed media, and encaustic, exploring the tension between preservation, growth, and the thresholds between remaining as-is or evolving beyond. She holds a BFA from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle.

Meet Meghan Jones
Meghan Jones is an artist and author who uses her BFA and academic research to create modern impressionism paintings depicting organisms and habitats from below 1000m in the deep-sea. Her aim is to reveal the beauty and majesty of these unseen places, introduce the public to a deep ocean world they have never encountered, and inspire ocean stewardship through fine art and science education.
You can find more of her work at www.studiombj.com on Instagram @studio_mbj, and on Bluesky @studio-mbj.bsky.social

Meet Sara Sinclair
"For me, art is the perfect way to combine chaos and order, almost like meditation." Sarah Sinclair is a 24 year old abstract artist from Spokane. Her work is inspired by “big emotions and never quite having the words…”
“Ars gratia artis” or “art for art’s sake” has been Sarah’s main influence. Seeking every opportunity to create beauty because it deserves to exist.

Meet Sean Kavanaugh
An acoustic singer/songwriter with a prolific catalogue of original and cover songs across all generations and genres, Sean has been pleasing audiences in the Spokane region for years. Sean’s upbeat vibe and musicianship will be a welcome addition to First Friday Fest!

"I love visiting the club for my professional and personal needs. Great place to be if you're new to town or looking for new quality friendships. Restaurant has a great menu and great weeknight specials. Gym is fantastic and classes are always available. Hotel side has updated rooms and an incredible front desk team that will make sure your experience is excellent."
Shae B.
"The Spokane club is a wonderful place to visit! It is very warm and has a ton of activities to do to get you in shape! Anica is very friendly and always has a smile on her face when she greets you! She even knows a lot about the different customers who come in to the Spokane club on a weekly basis! Former Gonzaga basketball players come here and have a team that they play on! If you are looking for a club to join this is the one! And they even have a daycare for your little ones to play and get in shape as well."
